MasterChef Australia. I am sure you know it. If you don’t, you ARE missing out!!! It’s an international baking show that started in 2009. It is broadcasted in over 60 countries. And now the Australian season 12 is out (the Australian version is best!), and it’s awesome!! I started watching it last summer. And we finished the whole season with my family. In that season Larissa (she did great desserts) won the golden plate.

The judges in season 11 were: Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris. George is definitely my favorite judge. Because he was fun and strict at the same time. I would love to eat at one of his restaurants once.

After 11 seasons sadly the judges left the show. In this 2020 season the new judges are: Andy Allen, Jock Zonfrillo and Melissa Leong. We are still getting used to them.

I was not always a great eater, when I was little I was picky with foods. But it has gotten better over time and I keep trying new things. Plain Dutch yellow cheese I still can’t eat and tomatoes are also on that list.

What I do love is pizza and Mexican food.

My favorite contestant from last year is Simon Toohey. He makes AWESOME vegetarian meals, and owns a vegetarian smoke house pop-up (!)

I have a big passion for cooking and I also want to be in MasterChef one day. I LOVE baking and cooking. As it is one of my favorite things to do. These days I often cook with my mom and we make cakes, muffins and roll out our own pizzas. What is also fun is getting some fresh veggies from our neighbor’s garden. My goal is to make my own vegetable patch (we’re working on it). Tell me about your cooking adventures!
